David Villa Signing: Tremendous move by Barcelona. I know a lot of people are beating down on Ibra but the guy scored 21 goals for the season. If Barcelona had won the Champions League people would not be speaking so badly about him. Ibra is going no where and I promise he will have a great season next year. For all those persons wondering where will Villa play; here is a little hint "Do you feel just as comfortable out wide as when you are an out an out striker? “My natural position is centre forward, but I’ve played out wide on both wings and I can adapt my game to the team’s needs. I think players are born with a specific skill, but we can always improve and add to that, which is my objective”.
Inter did well and I congratulate them. Congrats also to the Special one. I am not so much a fan of Jose but I have to give respect where it's due. Jose moving to Madrid is a big thing. I am looking forward to the battles between Pep and the special one.
It seems a transfer of Cesc will not be happening this season but I am keeping my fingers cross. If he does not return to Barca this season it will be the next. This transfer is some thing that must happen. Cesc will be the successor for Xavi and the new leader of the team in the next couple of years.
Most people believe trading Eto for Ibra was a bad move but I don't necessarily support that. I think people's expectations where too high. From my point of view the main reason why Barcelona did not win the Champions league was the absence of Niesta.
